LAWMAKERS TAKE AIM AT LOTTERY CRIMES

The legislative response to the Uxbridge man-a ten million dollar lottery winner, accused of enticing a teen for sex has come quickly. State Senator Richard Moore says he will file a bill in response to lottery monies being used to further a criminal activity. Currently there is no law on the books. State Treasure Steve Grossman, who oversees the lottery is offering his department’s technical assistance in formulating a bill.
